I Am a Stranger Among My ‘Brothers and Sisters’

Sharing is caring!

I call them my brothers and my sisters, but I feel like a stranger among them.

I convince myself that they truly are my brothers and sisters.

Especially because we gather in the same building. Clapping hands together and closing eyes together.  Mentioning our father’s name together or should I say my father’s name,  since I am doubting if they really are my brothers and sisters.

I  am considering a DNA  test because the difference between them and me increases day by day.

Recently, I have noticed that the principles I stand for are strange to them, yet the principles are not mine but our father’s.

Sorry not our father’s but my father’s, if they were our father’s they would agree with the principles.

When I talk of living a holy life, they say it is impossible to live a holy life here on earth.

They live carelessly.

Yet my father says, “Be holy for I am holy.”  And He has given us the Holy Spirit to help us live a holy life.

The father says we should not lie, but they lie and they are not repentant about it.

This tells me who their father is and for sure their father is not my father for my father is truth.

Now I understand why when we are in the building they seem to honor my father.  However, when we leave the building they change.

They become fornicators, adulterers, homosexuals, drunkards, thieves, haters, workers of iniquity, liars… just like their father.

They must be among the ones who on the last day will say, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in your name? and in your name have cast out devils? and in your name done many wonderful works? And he will say to them I never knew you: depart from me, you that work iniquity.

What a tragedy that will be! It’s our prayer you will not be among them.

My father’s message to them.

Going to the building where the church meets without been the church only makes you known to leaders in the church. It does not give you the right standing with God.

Receiving Christ as your Lord & savior is what gives you right standing with God. When you receive Jesus Christ your behavior in the building will be consistent with how you live outside the building.
